It’s the final BOFRA of the season this weekend. One more lung busting blast, then the pleasure and charm of Wasdale show. I appreciate it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I do love a gnarly big hill.
As racing hasn’t settled down as much as I have imagined, the next few classes will target key areas that we need to look after as runners / active folks. Following on from Monday’s Hips Class, we’ll down to the next leg joint and target the knees.

Upcoming Classes
Sunday Stretch – Recorded Class – Sunday 15th October – available from 10am
This is a 45-minute class will be all yin poses and focus on opening up the front of the shoulders – we hunch forward so much running and cycling and doing desk work. It’s really beneficial to counteract that forward posture to ensure it doesn’t cause muscular imbalances and niggles.
Knee Focused Session – Live Zoom Class – Monday 16th October – 6:30pm
This week we will focus on knee health – Our knees aren’t meant to be flexible, so this is going to be all about making sure the muscles that stabilise the knee are doing what they are supposed to be. There’ll be a mix of strength/stability to support the knees, mobility/range of movement of the joint and stretching/lengthening of muscles that can cause disfunction when they get too tight.
Monday Zoom Class (Knees) – Recording
If you can’t make the Zoom class at 6:30, you can pick up the recording instead.
Have a great week!
Rachel
