THE PSOAS
Following on from last week’s hips class, in this session will target the psoas. This hard-working muscle connects the torso to the legs. It takes the brunt of the effort when our glutes don’t work hard enough or our quads over work, it get shorter and tighter if we sit much, stand a lot or have poor posture or misalignment and when it’s tight it can shorten stride length/drive and cause back ache.
Basically, it works very hard and can get very tight, so we owe it some care and attention.
