Yoga for Every Body
Taking time to slow down and care for our bodies and minds.
Since I began teaching yoga in 2017, my approach has always been to make yoga accessible. To do that, I’ve thought carefully about how and what I teach.
I don’t assume that everyone knows the names of yoga poses and I take into account the way that hobbies, exercise, work and everyday life affect how people move and feel.
Function Over Form
My classes focus on function over form – being guided by how things feel, not how they look. I keep pose names to a minimum and avoid traditional yoga jargon, so instructions are clear and inclusive. My teaching blends elements of:
- Hatha
- Flow
- Yin
- Pilates
- Functional movement
- Strength & conditioning
The aim is simple: to support your body and mind through mindful movement and breath.
Yoga for Real Life
For me, yoga helps with lots of aspects of my life:
- Manage stress and everyday challenges
- Recover when I’m unwell
- Move and feel active when I’m tired
- Re-energize when I need a boost
- Undo tension from long hours at a desk
Because I find that yoga supports me in so many ways, I want to share that with others and offer this through classes, workshops and outdoor yoga.
What’s Happening
Regular outdoor pop-up classes when the weather is good. These sessions are run as “The Yoga Busker” – the idea beginning that yoga is happening in a public place, anyone can come along and join in and you just pay as you feel.
With these classes being outdoors there is some variability with days/times.
These are pay as you feel classes.
I offer one-off and regular yoga sessions for teams and organisations, available both in the workplace and online.
These sessions are especially valuable in high-stress environments and in roles focused on caring for others. For teams working remotely, online yoga provides an opportunity to reconnect, support physical and mental well-being, and counteract the effects of long hours at a desk.
A workplace yoga session can be a valuable addition to a training day, team-building event, or staff well-being program.
It can also be a convenient option for teams who want to enjoy a class without needing to travel after work — bringing movement, relaxation, and connection directly into the workday.
