Yoga for Runners
Online (via Zoom), 7:00 ’til 7:45pm
Or get the class recording to do anytime
This class is designed around what people running at any level want and need.
Different styles of yoga and movement are used to provide strength and conditioning, release tension, maintain/improve joint mobility and aid recovery.
The purpose / focus of the class is different each week. I try to keep an eye on the race calendar and consider training, racing and time of year to provide classes that support your running.
This class is recorded. If you can’t attend the Zoom session or just want to do it at a different time you can buy the recording.
45-minute online classes are £5 / Class recordings are £3 (available for 7 days after the class)

______
Function Yoga for Active Bodies – Heptonstall
Functional Flow blends different styles of yoga, dynamic movement and takes inspiration from Pilates and rehab exercise to support both physical and mental wellbeing.
You can expect a thoughtful mix of styles including: Hatha, yin and flow to provide S&C and relieve tension, along with the core activation of Pilates and mobility work for joint health. The emphasis is on real-world movement without jargon or dogma. Just mindful, intelligent sequences that build strength, flexibility and awareness.
Who is the class for? Runners, cyclists, hikers, active folks, or anyone wanting to be more active.
Classes are £10 (drop in) / Class Block £40 (for a block of 5 classes – valid for 10 weeks)

______
Oxenhope Feel Good Friday Yoga
This is a relaxed informal 45-minute class to help you unwind at the end of the week.
Rachel uses a variety yoga styles to encourage you to move in a way that works for your body and focus on how things feel rather than how they look.
The class is suitable for beginners & yoga regulars. You don’t need to have done yoga before or be flexible to come along.
The class involves standing, sitting & lying poses. I do my best to offer alternatives & ways to adapt poses, but if you have very limited mobility, the class might not be suitable.
Classes are £7.50 / Class Blocks are £25 (for a block of 4 classes – valid for 8 weeks)

______

Perfect for active recovery, when you need an easy day, but still want to move or when you just want to chill out and de-stress.
Note: These classes are pre-recorded so you can do them whenever suits you
How it works: At the beginning of each month, two new 45-minute recorded sessions will be available in the shop as Month – Stretch & Recovery.
When you pick up the current month’s Stretch & Recovery, you’ll be sent a YouTube playlist link that has the two recordings in it.
The sessions are available for the whole month to do whenever you like and revisit as many time as you like.

______
Wednesday Morning Online Class

Every Wednesday 7-7:30am
This will be a class to wake you and your body up. There’ll be lots of mobilisation / moving the joints and a little less super-mellow relaxation. The idea being to give you a early morning mid-week energy boost and get rid of stiffness in the joints and aches in the muscles.
