Rachel Pilling is a multi-disciplinary movement practitioner with a passion for running, wellbeing, nature, and community. With over 15 years’ experience in education and community-based projects, she blends her background in sport, dance, yoga and massage therapy to create inclusive, holistic spaces for people be proactive about self-care and to connect with their bodies and the natural world.

Holding a BA (Hons) in Communication Arts (Media & Performance – Dance), Rachel’s professional journey began in community dance, working with organisations such as Step By Step Dance Company and Interplay Theatre. Her work in these spaces deepened her interest in supporting individuals with SEND and SEMH, ultimately leading her into the education sector, where she taught and supported both primary and secondary pupils.

A Level 3 qualified Yoga Teacher with further training in Yoga for Athletes, Children, and Yin Yoga, Rachel has taught across diverse settings — from schools and studios to parks, workplaces and online platforms. Her yoga style led by accessibility and purpose, drawing upon Hatha, Flow, Yin, and athlete-specific practices. She is also a Level 4 qualified Sports Massage Therapist, helping athletes and individuals maintain functional movement and recovery.

Rachel is a Fell and Trail Leader in Running Fitness (FLiRF), and the current British and English V40 Fell Running Champion — titles that reflects her commitment to pushing personal limits and engaging with the outdoors. Her personal interest in understanding how to manage and support her own body through the demands of training and racing led to providing athlete and runner focused yoga sessions. She is now expanding her offerings through retreats, workshops, and community movement programs that highlight self-care, embodiment and the restorative power of nature.

Current Projects:
Rachel is currently developing a series of nature-inspired yoga and movement retreats and workshops aimed at encouraging deeper self-awareness, connection, and wellbeing. This sits alongside the existing work offering accessible functional yoga for runners and athletes.
