March/April Newsletter

The final weeks of winter whizzed by in a flash and March kicked off with an inspiring Women of Fells Unite social run on International Women’s Day. It was wonderful to get together – I’m really grateful to Cass from Calder Valley Fell Runners for initiating this and getting me involved and to everyone that came along and made it such a special morning.

I am six months into by job with Active Bradford and British Triathlon. It’s super exciting seeing projects getting going and evolving, but it’s definitely a challenge trying to juggle that with yoga and massage work, my own training and general life stuff.

To make sure I don’t burn myself out I’ve made a few changes to how the yoga sessions work – tweaks to sign ups, playlist links and making blocks 6 weeks rather than 4. I’ve also changed the newsletters to line-up with the blocks too.

New 6-Week Yoga for Runners Series

Mobility-Stability-Stretch Series

Our new block starts on Monday 13th April.

Spring has sprung and life is getting busier. In this block our yoga sessions are adapting to the demands of the seasonal changes.

This series is a one stop shop to keep on top of self-care / maintenance. Each session is broken down into 15-minute chunks of mobility, stability and stretch.

Whatever your Spring looks like – whether you’re getting into midweek racing, out running a bit more, busy at work or just have more life-stuff going on, these sessions will make sure you’re getting some all around self-care each week without missing out on playing out.

The Mobility-Stability-Stretch Series runs from 13th April to the 18th May

The 6-class series Zoom block is £30 or recordings block is £18. Individual classes are £5.

Class Recordings

Individual class recordings are available through Patreon, . The recordings from the Monday Zoom sessions are uploaded the day after the class and can be accessed for 2-weeks.

To get the series block of recordings, sign up via the SumUp store. You’ll be sent a playlist link and the classes will be added to that each week.

Functional Yoga for Active Bodies

For people who want to use yoga to support physical and mental wellbeing with an emphasis on using yoga to help active folks look after themselves and have a little chill out time.

We start each class by having a chat about what aches, pains or niggles people have tailor the class to what folks need.

This is £10 per session or you can get a block of 5 classes for £40 (valid for 10-weeks). Click the image below to sign up

Morning Yoga (online) / Stretch & Recovery Playlist

Morning yoga is on Fridays 7-7:30 on Zoom.

The Stretch & Recovery Playlist is three 30-minute recorded classes.

The Yoga Busker

Pop-up outdoor yoga sessions will return soon. I’ll post on Facebook and Bluesky to let you know where and when. For the next few weeks, it’s likely to be a bit random as I grab the chance to get out when the weather is good enough. Once things warm up properly there will be some more regular sessions.
