Hey hey – I hope your winter training or hibernation is going well. I feel like we’ve been treated to some invigorating (maybe that’s code word for hideous) weather that has been wild to play out in, but it feel more positive as we have the light for longer and the odd bright day to treat us.
February kicks off with some big, tough races – Rombalds, Trog and the return of Mickleden Straddle and may well be the beginning of ramping up mileage for Spring marathons or 3Peaks. If you have hard races, long runs or tough sessions coming up you might want to grab the month’s Stretch & Recovery recordings to do on recovery / easy days.

Our Zoom Sessions for this month will focus on a different area each week and work on releasing tension, mobilising joints and strengthening stabilising muscles. The session are:
3rd – Hips & Glutes
10th – Knees & Thighs
17th – Spine, Back & Core
24th – Ankles & Calves
As always you can join on Zoom (Mondays at 6:30) or get the recordings to do when you like. You can pay as you go or sign up for the month – all the links are at the bottom of the post.

We’re back in Otley on the 12th February for our monthly class. This will be a rounded session to support your running with an mix of tension release and strengthening poses / movements. Before the session starts I’ll check in to see if there are any requests, niggles or requirements and make sure the class includes what you need.

Sign up to the sessions via the YfR SumUp Store:
Cheers
