Happy New Year

Hello 2024!

Following the festive break, YfR will restart with our Monthly Otley Class at the Scout Hut on Wednesday 3rd January at 6:00pm and returning to our weekly Zoom classes on the 8th.

We will also continue to have a weekly recorded stretch/recovery class to help tackle the aches and pains from wet/windy weekend racing and long runs.

This month our Monday zoom yoga classes are dedicated to supporting winter base training. As we head out on long runs and work to improve running economy and endurance our yoga sessions will compliment this by aiming to improve stability, balance, mobility and flexibility with an S&C focus.

There will be 4 sessions (8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th Jan) – You’re welcome to dip in and out or join for the full block.

Monday 8th January – Full body Strength & Stretch

Monday 15th January – Leg Strength & Balance

Monday 22nd January – Glutes & Hips

Monday 29th January – Core & Back

If you can’t make the zoom session or just prefer to do the class in your own time, you can pick up the recording of the class.

January Class Recordings

To make life easier you can sign up for the January S&C Block. You’ll be sent the Zoom link each week or if you can’t make it, just let me know and I can send the link to the recording after the class. There is also an option to get the recording in addition to the zoom classes. If you get the block plus recordings, you’ll have access to the classes until the end of February.

Recorded Classes

Weekly recorded Stretch/Recovery classes are released on Sunday mornings and available for 7-days. Next week’s will be added soon. At the moment there are a couple of classes from the holidays.
