I don’t know how I forgot how jam packed September and October are – Fell relays, the end of the BOFRA season and XC kicking off. That said I can’t do much on the running front at the moment and am spending my time spectating and supporting at events and doing a mix of cycling and yoga to keep me fit and hopefully help me recover of a pesky niggle.
Upcoming Classes
Sunday Stretch – Recorded Class – Sunday 8th October – available from 10am
This is a 45-minute class will have a some yin poses and lots of twists – this will be a nice one if you have a bit on tension in the back and also release tightness in the glutes and the front of the shoulders.
Sorry, I had said I hoped to do a live class this week. Unfortunately, due to family commitments I can’t make this week. Thank you to those who got in touch to share their thoughts about doing Sunday sessions on zoom. I’ll keep you posted. Apologies for not bringing this back as planned.
Hips Hips Hips – Live Zoom Class – Monday 9th October – 6:30pm
This session is going to target the hips – releasing tension in the glutes, quads and hip flexors to improve range of movement around the hip joint which should in turn help with striding out and power when running.
I know this is a problem spot for lots of people – myself included – so good to get a hips session in every so often.
Hips Hips Hips – Class Recording
If you can’t make the Zoom class at 6:30, you can pick up the recording instead.
Have a great week!
Rachel
