It was nice to go back to basics and focus on form and function in yesterday’s class. If you have never done a yoga class before, this would be a good introduction – there are no flowing sequences and there are options to progress the poses, but you don’t have to. Another yin session this week. This one will focus on releasing tension in the hips and shoulders.
While summer racing, holidays and the generally busy nature of this time of year are upon us, the Sunday class will continue to be pre-recorded rather than on Zoom. The live Sunday class will resume after the summer holidays.
Monday 31st July – 6:30-7:30pm – Zoom – Core & Balance
This week’s class will be a slightly stronger more targeted class. Lots of poses to engage the core (front and back) – more about stabilising than a killer abs workout. Once we’ve fired up the stabilising muscles we’ll move on to some balancing poses, then we’ll finish with twists to stretch out and release any tension from the effort of the class.
The zoom link will be sent out 30 minutes before the class.
