Twists, Hips & Shoulders
This week we are aiming to open up through the front of the body and release tension in the back and glutes. The class we include lots of twisting, turning and contralateral movements to help counter the forward rounded posture we often adopt at desks, driving, running and on the bike.
As well as stretching out will will engage the back muscles to give support and length. By lifting and opening the front and sides of the body we can also improve our breathing and allow the lungs/ribs cage to expand more.
