Torso focus
For the next few sessions we will focus on specific target areas. The classes will aim to find balance between stability and mobility – doing strengthen poses to support the joints and lengthening/flexibility to aid range of movement and release tightness that could be restricting movement.
This week we will target the tight muscles of the lumbar area and strengthen the core muscles to promote stability/alignment of the pelvis. We’ll also do plenty of side stretching to release tension in the intercostal muscles to allow deeper breathing and improve oxygen uptake.
