Core and Spine
The focus this week is split between strengthening the core and lengthening the spine/releasing tension in the back. These go hand-in hand as a strong core is vital for supporting and maintaining a healthy spine.
We know a lot of running injuries come from having a weak core which can cause postural imbalances. Taking some time to release the spine through twisting and stretching can also address imbalances in the hips, as well as discomfort in the back.
